A panoramic rotunda suspended in the void... A technical feat combined with magnificent design!
Development of the Cime Caron, Val Thorens, Savoie.
On the iconic Cime Caron site in Val Thorens (Savoie), FUNBELT® signs the development of a fully transparent panoramic rotunda, suspended at 3,200 m altitude and offering a 360° immersive experience. Custom-designed, it integrates perfectly into one of the highest viewpoints in the Alps.
A reinforced protection gallery adapted to extreme snow conditions!
Installation of a reinforced protection gallery, Anzère resort, Canton of Valais, Switzerland.
Within the ski area of the Anzère resort, FUNBELT® proceeded with the installation of a reinforced gallery for a ski moving carpet, specially designed to resist extreme snow conditions.
In addition to replacing the old damaged moving carpet, the new infrastructure was covered by a reinforced structure protection gallery, dimensioned to support significant snow loads, thus guaranteeing user safety.
Another project challenge: designing a solution perfectly adapted to the specific topography of the site, by integrating the moving carpet and its protection gallery on a particularly challenging mountain terrain.

An escalator that turns into a real small Beaubourg in the heart of the Alps!
Covering of an escalator linking the 2 levels of a resort, Valmeinier resort, Savoie.
In Valmeinier, Savoie, FUNBELT® carried out the custom-made covering of an escalator linking the two levels of a mountain resort. The backlit protection gallery achieves a real double: protecting the escalator from bad weather while offering users an exceptional panorama of the resort.
Optimized cost... Simple to implement, the protection gallery requires no foundation and can thus be easily removed at any time. Furthermore, it does not require a building permit.

Installation of the moving carpet at Cauterets resort, Hautes-Pyrénées.
In Cauterets, in the Hautes-Pyrénées, FUNBELT® designed and installed an uplift moving carpet intended for skier transport. With a length of 367 m, FUNBELT® achieved a record here: the implementation of the longest covered moving carpet outdoor in the world!
