General terms and conditions of use of FUNBELT® products
These General Terms and Conditions of Use govern the use of our leisure moving walkways. Please read all instructions and warnings carefully before using this equipment. By using our products, you agree to comply with our Terms and Conditions of Use. Thank you for your attention and cooperation.
1. Regulatory use
Our leisure moving walkways are subject to strict safety and passenger transport regulations. They are designed to be installed, operated, used, and maintained in compliance with EN15700 standards and our installation, operation, and maintenance manuals.
Any non-compliant use can lead to safety risks, particularly for users and workers.
2. Conditions and restrictions of use
Our leisure moving walkways are technical equipment specifically designed for the transport of people under the conditions of the EN15700 standard.
As this equipment is exposed to weather, particular attention must be paid to its daily start-up and cleaning.
Opening to users can only occur after a complete daily cleaning of essential components, especially safety devices, has been performed, and a full, fault-free test run has been completed and logged, before any public access. Any anomaly observed before opening or during the operating period must lead to an operational shutdown and its resolution before resuming operation.
Our products must be used in accordance with the provided instructions. For safety reasons, any use outside the specified conditions is strictly prohibited.
This equipment is fitted with a "maintenance" operating mode. This operating mode must under no circumstances be used while open to the public.
Any abnormal situation during operation must lead to the immediate shutdown of the installation, followed by an analysis and understanding of the risks before restarting.
Operation and maintenance must only be performed by personnel who have been trained by the manufacturer.
3. Maintenance and upkeep
To ensure optimal performance and a long lifespan for your equipment, it's essential to pay attention to its proper use and follow the maintenance rules provided during installation.
Regular upkeep, in accordance with recommendations, is necessary. For more information, please refer to the maintenance manual provided during the installation of your moving walkway, and/or contact our After-Sales Service, available 7 days a week.
You must only use original parts to maintain the warranty.
4. Liability
The operator of the installation assumes full responsibility for the proper use and regular maintenance of their equipment, in accordance with the provided instructions. Any incorrect use or negligence in maintenance can compromise the equipment's proper functioning and lead to safety risks for users.
We decline all responsibility for direct or indirect damages resulting from inappropriate use or a lack of maintenance of the moving walkway.
5. Safety and compliance
Our products must be used in compliance with current safety standards. The operator of the installation must ensure the equipment is in proper working order before each use and immediately report any anomaly or malfunction, should one occur.
6. Modifications to the General Terms en Conditions of Use
We reserve the right to modify these General Terms and Conditions of Use at any time. Changes will be published on our website and will take effect immediately upon their publication. It is the operator's responsibility to regularly consult the General Terms and Conditions of Use to stay informed of any potential modifications.
