Anzère Blue Moving Carpet: innovation under high-resistance gallery.

The commissioning of the new "Blue Moving Carpet" in 2024 marks a turning point in the development of Anzère's ski area. This major project, carried out by FUNBELT®, enabled complete harmonization of the Cuvette sector by simultaneously replacing the old moving carpet and drag lift with a unique high-capacity moving carpet transport solution. By substituting these obsolete infrastructures, the resort created a simplified and efficient circulation axis, capable of absorbing significant skier flows while securing access to slopes for beginners and families.

This single-belt moving carpet adapts perfectly to the site's specific topography. It establishes itself as an essential link in reorganizing the beginner zone. With its capacity of 1,500 people per hour, it maintains a positive skiing dynamic on the snow front.

The central element of the installation is undoubtedly its reinforced protective gallery, specifically designed to meet the rigorous climatic requirements of Valais. This next-generation structure offers increased resistance to snow weight and wind gusts, ensuring the investment's sustainability against altitude weather. The FUNVISIO® protective gallery significantly limits snow accumulation on the conveyor belt, lightening maintenance interventions and guaranteeing near-instant startup each morning. Combining aesthetics and industrial robustness, this custom gallery confirms Anzère's commitment to reliable, premium resort mobility.
