Puy du Fou: a scenographic revolution!

The installation created for the show "Le Mime et l'Étoile" at Puy du Fou constitutes one of the beautiful challenges met by FUNBELT®. To bring this historical fresco to life, two event moving carpets, measuring 42 and 45 meters long respectively, were integrated at the heart of the stage. This set of 2 moving carpets is not a simple transporter, but a true visual storytelling tool capable of generating a striking physical tracking effect. By scrolling the ground beneath the actors' feet, the moving carpets simulate continuous movement through the streets of Paris, offering spectators total immersion in the aesthetic of Belle Époque silent cinema.

The particularity of this installation lies in its bidirectional movement, offering total flexibility to synchronize set and actor movements. This reversibility, combined with mastery of moving carpet speed, ensures perfect fluidity with moving elements. Technology fades before emotion, movements taking place in absolute silence, essential to the magic of scenography.
