Les Karellis: free initiation thanks to the Blanchon conveyor belt

Les Karellis resort has been reinventing the mountain vacation experience since 1975. In 2024/2025, the snow front has been completely redesigned to offer a space dedicated to alpine ski initiation with 100% free access. An old difficult-to-access rope tow was replaced by a FUNBELT® conveyor belt 90 meters long, equipped with a protective gallery. The creation of a specific initiation zone, separated from experienced skier flows, guarantees beginners and families a learning environment without disturbances, conducive to confidence.

Beyond its educational function, the FUNBELT® conveyor belt becomes a precious mobility ally within the resort. It notably allows vacationers staying in the upper resort accommodations to reach the village with ease.
