Designed by the FICAP/FUNBELT® teams, the only company in France to master this technology, this dual-belt moving carpet is part of an ambitious project to modernize the snow front at Isola 2000 resort. With a length of 180 meters, this installation advantageously replaces two obsolete drag lifts, freeing the panorama from unsightly cables for a perfect landscape integration within the resort.
The choice of FUNBELT® technology guarantees performance, comfort and fluidity with a capacity of 3,600 people per hour, drastically reducing waiting times. Thanks to its dual motorization and adapted speed, this gentle ski lift ensures safe flow management across the different areas of the snow front.
Beyond aesthetics, this project illustrates FUNBELT®'s commitment to the environment through responsible installations with reduced carbon footprint. The protective gallery features rooftop photovoltaic panels, enabling the production of green energy directly injectable into the resort's general network.
As a 4-season infrastructure, this dual-belt moving carpet goes beyond winter use. In summer, the installation remains open to boost mountain activities: it is used daily by mountain bikers, hikers or for Mountain Kart practice. True to FICAP's expertise, this robust and versatile installation adapts perfectly to year-round multi-sport activities, meeting the diversification challenges of mountain resorts.
