La Plagne: the double Ange conveyor belt optimizes flow at 2,300 m

La Plagne is an exceptional resort at the heart of Paradiski, an immense area of 425 km of slopes offering unique landscape diversity, from glaciers to forests. Comprising 10 resorts, including 6 ski-in/ski-out altitude stations, La Plagne chose to install a FUNBELT® double conveyor belt to optimize flow at a strategic point of the massif. Located near the top station of the Arpette 8-seater chairlift, it represents a key infrastructure for inter-resort mobility. It allows skiers arriving from the Crozats chairlift to climb back to the pass to reach the Montchavin-Les Coches sectors without descending to Plagne Bellecôte.

In addition to its connection function within Paradiski, the "Ange 1 & 2" conveyor belt serves the upper part of the Arpette slope. Located at 2,300 m, it offers beginners a high-altitude skiing experience, allowing them to progress in an alpine environment with a magnificent panorama of Mont-Blanc rather than at the base of the resort.

Thanks to its 2 conveyor belts, the TWINLIFT® double conveyor belt ensures a constant throughput of 3,000 people per hour. Thanks to belt technology with exceptional grip, transport is secured regardless of weather conditions. The protective gallery FUNVISIO® is specifically designed to withstand heavy snowfall and the climatic constraints of the Arpette sector. Finally, this installation integrates a sustainable dimension with reduced energy consumption, thus preserving the environment at the heart of an exceptional ski area!
